Day 1 Ha Noi :
Arrive in Ha Noi and transfer to the hotel. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight Hanoi (D)
Day 2 Ha Noi :
Visit the Ethnology Museum and go over day-to-day itinerary with guide. Overnight Hanoi (B)
Day 3 Mai Chau :
Drive to Mai Chau. Trek through local villages and overnight with local hill tribe family. (B,L,D)

Continue exploration of the area. Overnight with another local hill tribe family. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Zao Village :
Morning trek. Drive to Da River and cross by boat. Trek again to a Zao Village. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Zao Village :
Spend the day in the village with the Zao people. (B,L,D)
Day 7 Hai Phong :
Return to Ha Noi to freshen up before traveling onto Hai Phong. (B,L,D)
Day 8 Ha Long Bay :
Boat to Cat Ba Island. After exploring, enjoy a private cruise to the Golf of Tonkin. Overnight Ha Long (B,L,D)
Day 9 Ha Long Bay :
Spend the entire day on the bay, exploring the islands and cave by kayak. Overnight Ha Long (B,L,D)
