Day 1   Paro
Arrive Paro, transfer to hotel.  Afternoon orientation tour.  Overnight Paro (L,D)

 Day 2   Camping
Drive to Punakha with spectacular views.  Afternoon to Chimi Lhakhang with easy hike.  Evening visit to private farmhouse.  Overnight at tented Camp. (B,L,D)

 Day 3   Rafting
Morning rafting in the Pho Chu river. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong Overnight at tented camp.  (B,L,D)

 Day 4  Punakha
Hike to Choeten Nyingpo, a Buddhist school.  Evening visit to local farmhouse and  archery lessons. Overnight at tented Camp. (B,L,D)

Day 5   Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu.  Afternoon visit weekend market and township. Overnight Thimphu  (B,L,D)

Day 6   Thimphu to Paro
Morning drive north to visit Tango Monastery and a moderate hike through the forest of oak and rhododendron. Drive to Paro Overnight Paro   (B,L,D)

Day 7   Taktshang Goenpa
Excursion to Taktshang, the Tiger’s Nest.  Evening visit the Drukgyel Dzong  Overnight Paro  (B,L,D)

 Day 8 - Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to Bangkok.  (B)
